cant login uplay

Can't login to UPLAY. upskill login I just bought the game on steam in the sale and when I launch it, it loads the uplay screen, saying inializing at the bottom of the screen forever and wont get past that screen. bandcamp login I have tried ProtonGE7-50, Proton Experimental and bleeding edge, Proton 7 0-6, and without the Steam Play compatibility tool option checked
